- Doris H. Marzahl, Kaukauna, age 94, died peacefully on Thursday November 1, 2018. She was born on June 10, 1924 in Kaukauna, Wisconsin the daughter of the late Ed and Wilhelmina (Carnot) Kaphingst. Doris was employed at AAL for many years. She volunteered at St. Paul Home and as a teachers aide at Nicolet and Tanner Schools. Doris enjoyed going out to eat; she loved her old fashioneds. She also enjoyed traveling, especially going to Madison to visit her granddaughter and grandson.
Doris is survived by her 3 daughters and son-in-law: Sheila Wentzel, Greenville, and her children, Jacob and Maxwell, Gail Marzahl, Kaukauna, and Pam (Brian) Tuyls, Kaukauna and children Amber (Ryan) Smith, Lucas (Amber) Meyer, Haley Fredericks, James Meyer and his girlfriend Stephanie Wrotny; 2 great-grandchildren: Finnegan Smith and Landon Wentzel; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband Karl in 1992, a son-in-law, Bob Wentzel, brother and sister-in-law Ed (Marion) Kaphingst and an infant brother.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna with Reverend Levi Willms officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will be in Trinity Ev. Lutheran Cemetery.
