    • Donald N. Reitz, 79, of Hartford passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, Nov. 24, 2006.
      He served his country in the U.S. Army.

      Don was past president of The Coachman "Lakeshore Runners" and a member of Wisconsin Camping Group.

      He was a "winter Texan" enjoying his winters in Alamo, Texas.

      Don enjoyed fishing, hunting and loved his hobby farm

      He was the dear father of Ronald (Karen Gotwalt) Reitz of Wauwatosa, Linda Reitz, Larry (Janice Covert) Reitz and Michael (Janet) Reitz, all of Hartford; dearest grandfather of Amelia Reitz of Maryland, Timothy (Jessica) Reitz of Slinger, Nicholas Reitz and Brandon Reitz, both of Hartford; dear brother of Margaret Lahn of Tomahawk, Dorothy Tank of Black Creek, Silva "Dollie" Bloedorn of Seymour, Norman (Dorothy) Reitz of Washington, Lois (Donald) Fries of Alabama and Barbara (Melvin) Barclay of Seymour.

      Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

      Don was preceded in death by his wife, Rita; his son, Allen; a grandson, Michael; his sisters, Myrtle and Adeline; and his brother, Aubert.

      Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 28, at the Berndt-Ledesma Fun-eral Home, Hartford, from 4 to 8 p.m., and on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 255 W. Lincoln Ave., Hartford.

      The funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the church.

      Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, with a military graveside service under the auspices of Hartford VFW Post 8834
