Dolores H. Van Camp Route 1, Hortonville, age 64, passed away Friday, February 23, 1990 at her home following a four year illness of heart disease. She was born July 6, 1925, in Kaukauna, the daughter of Nicholas and Christina [Schmidt] Jackels. Mrs. Van Camp was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Stephensville, the Ladies Guild and a Choir member. She was involved in 4-H and the Combined Fund of Ellington. Her love of life was shown by her active involvement in the Pro-Life movement.
She is survived by her husband, Alois; six daughters and five sons in-law; Charlene and Terry Nielsen, Neenah; Jane and Gary DePelecyn, Racine; Karen and Ron Gerrits, Mackville; JoAnn Ridichel, Hortonville; Jean and Dan Lipke, Neenah; Patty and Larry Leisgang, Seymour; six sons and three daughters in-law; Curt and Karen Skorczewski, Black Creek; Marcel Van Camp, Waupaca; Tom and Susan Van Camp, Windsor, California; Fran and Doris Van Camp; Ken Van Camp, Marty Van Camp, all of Hortonville; two brothers and sisters in-law; Norbert and Sally Jackels, Kaukauna; Lewis and Bernice Jackels, Darboy; two sisters; Marcella Mielke, florida; and Sr. Cyrilla [Elizabeth] Jackels, Lima, Peru; 23 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; four brothers in-law and their wives; Gene and Lori Van Camp, Kaukauna; Glen and Therese Van Camp, Kaukauna; Floyd and Joanne Van Camp, Kaukauna; Jerry Van Camp, Freedom; a sister in-law and her husband; Mary and Amos VanDeHey, Wrightstown; and many loving friends and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Michael in 1976 and John in 1977; four sisters; Regina Halbach, twins Ethel and Evelyn, and Agnes Jackels; a brother, Anthony Jackels; a brother in-law; George Mielke and a sister in-law; Donna Van Camp.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday st St. Patrick Catholic Church, Stephensville with Rev. Florian Resheske officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home, Hortonville Sunday from 4 until 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 8 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established for the Heart Fund.
