    • Delores Lavern (Boldt) Erickson, age 78 of Neenah, passed away peacefully early Friday, September 2, 2016. The oldest of 12, she was born on September 25, 1937 to the late Alvin and Lavorna Boldt. She was married to Norman Carl Erickson from 1964 to 1995, and together they had five children.

Delores is a 1955 Kewanee High School graduate and was a member of the Walther League. She then attended Green Bay Campus of the University of Wisconsin, and worked at Herman's Office Supply and for Wisconsin Public Service. She then moved to Rochester, MN in 1965 and became a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. She also volunteered as a librarian for over 20 years at RCLS and worked many hours as a volunteer at Rochester's Ronald McDonald house. She also spent many hours volunteering at the Bethel Lutheran Church Community Food Response and led a Bible Study at Maple Manor Nursing Home for 25 years. She worked at Cedar Wood Laundromat and later at the Rochester Recreation Center. After 51 years of residence, she moved to the Elder Lodge in Neenah in May 2016.

Delores enjoyed knitting; correspondence with family and friends; shopping for books and school supplies; dining out; movies, music, and theater; as well as helping others. One of her favorite memories was visiting Boldt Castle in Thousand Islands, NY with family and friends, and she took great pride in her Boldt family heritage.

Family was always very important to Delores. She is survived by three sons: Aaron, Jason, and Evan, and one daughter, Andrea; as well as two brothers, eight sisters, and many, many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her brother Kenneth; an infant daughter; and her grandson Maximus Aaron.

Per Delores' wishes, she will return to college to help train medical doctors with the donation of her body to the Medical School of Wisconsin.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service.
