    • Delores Caroline Clara (Rohloff) Flunker, 86, of Greenville, reached her heavenly home on May 29, 2017. Her pilgrimage began on November 21, 1930 on the homestead, where she lived her entire life. She was the youngest of five children, born to the late Herman and Ida (Bielefeldt) Rohloff. She was a housekeeper and cook for a local family before working at Tuttle Press for nine years.

Delores married Glenn Flunker at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ellington on June 19, 1952. They were the custodians of the church for 25 years. Delores was a lifelong member of the Ladies Aid and also taught Sunday School. She always enjoyed picking cherries and peeling apples with the Fox Valley Lutheran High School Ladies Guild.

Delores was an active member of the Outagamie County Farm Bureau, helping with fruit sales, membership drives and bake offs where she took first place for her peach cream cheese muffins. Delores enjoyed cooking (she made THE BEST potato pancakes), baking (can you say cream puffs?) and a good game of sheepshead. She also enjoyed many a night at the Cinderella Ballroom and listening to polka music. She was very proud to have taught her daughters how to polka and do the jitterbug.

Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage, her father and mother, her brothers and sisters-in-law, Melvin (Vivian, Wilma) and Willard (Ruth), her sisters and brother-in-law, Irene (Arthur) Petersen and Mildred.

Delores is survived by her children, Mark (Karen) Flunker, Diane (Michael) Presser-Jones, Karen (Jim) Grant, David (Shelly) Flunker and Paul (Laura) Flunker; her 16 grandchildren: Michelle and Kayla Flunker, Benjamin (Katrine) Torsrud, Sarah (Luke) Otto, Aaron (Beth) Presser, Meghan Presser (Jason Kraft), Eden Stevens and Gabrielle Presser, Mallory and McKenzie Grant, Amber (Russell) Scoggins and Zachary (Miranda) Flunker, and Megan (Travis) Price, Bradley (Kate) Mischler, Brian and Carly Flunker; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her brother-in-law, Rev. Charles (Beth) Flunker.

The Christian Funeral Service for Delores will be at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, 2017, at TRINITY EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH—ELLINGTON, W6399 County Road O, Appleton. The funeral will be officiated by Pastor Ronald Ash who shared many a visit and prayer while she was home bound. Delores' family will receive friends from 12:00 until the time of service. Special thanks to Rev. Donald Ninmer for the years of friendship and support, and for keeping her dad's nickname for her alive - "Toodie". The family extends heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Home Instead, The Bridges of Appleton and ThedaCare Regional Medical Center for their kindness and care.
