- Darline Margaret Young, age 81, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2011, at Rennes, Appleton. She was born May 5, 1930, the daughter of the late Frank and Antoinette (Van Der Wielen) Klein. Darline graduated from Appleton High School in 1948. She was a proud member of the C.B.'s Club for several years during and after graduating high school. On September 10, 1949, she married Richard D. Young. He precedes her in death.
Always a proud woman, she and her husband raised five children: Toni Krueger, Menasha, Kathleen (Ralph) Endres, Menasha, Maureen (Jim) Broehm, Neenah, Daniel (Judy) Young; Wells, Nevada; daughter-in-law Louise (Mark) Froode. There are 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Hildeman; sisters-in-law: Dee Klein and Barb Young and brother-in-law, Ken Young.
She is preceded in death by her son, David Young; sister, Elaine Metcher; brothers: Francis and Don Klein; sisters & brothers-in law: Mouse Klein, Marlene Young and Jack Metcher, Bob Young and her mother and father-in-law.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 324 Nicolet Boulevard, Menasha, with Fr. Paul Paider officiating. Friends will be welcomed at the church from 2 p.m. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Darline.
We love you mom. Now you are finally free of pain and reunited with dad.
