Weyland, Daniel H.
Daniel Howard-Otto Weyland, age 71, of Freedom, made his final journey to God's Kingdom on Tuesday, July 15, 2008. He was born May 12, 1937, to the late Ernest and Mildred (Buss) Weyland Luedtke. On August 22, 1959, he married Shirley Tank.

Over the years, Dan held various positions as a musician, school bus driver, salesman for natural fertilizer and seed corn, and had an avid interest in natural health modalities. He was especially loved at area nursing homes where he played the accordion for the residents. Many people would say he was the "Sparkle of their day!" He also enjoyed playing "Santa" at Christmas time. Dan enjoyed life to the fullest, loved to play the accordion, helping people, and spending time with family and friends.
He was a member of Fox Valley Christian Fellowship in Kimberly.
