Cyril 'Cy Van Eyck

Age 72, died Tuesday, March 27, 1990 at Kaukauna Community Hospital. He was born August 5, 1917 in Little Chute, the son of the late Frank and Ceclia [Ulger] Van Eck. He lived in the Kaukauna area all of his life and had been employed at Badger Northland for 17 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Kaukauna.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred [Janssen] Van Eyck; a son and daughter in-law, Eugene and Alice Van Eyck, Menominee, Michigan; a daughter, Christine Van Ekern, Kaukauna; eight grandchildren; Cheryl Lord, Kim Blom, Keith, Missy, and Terri Van Eyck; Rose, Brenda and Jason Van Ekern; two great grandsons; Tyler Blom and Andrew Lord; three brothers; Vincent, Kaukauna; Francis [Kate], Appleton; and Dominic [Arlene], Little Chute; three sisters; Loretta [Leroy] Quaintance, Theresa Maquardt, all of Kaukauna; Agnes [Andrew] Sasnowski, Neenah.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary [Malsavage]; and a brother, Paul.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with Father John Dewane officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Greenwood Fargo Funeral Home, Kaukauna from 4-9 p.m. Thursday and after 8:30 a.m. on Friday until the cortege leaves for the church. There will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
