    • Cornelius Klingelhoets Of Chaska
      Died last Week Wednesday
      Cornelius H Klingelhoets, a well known successful and highly respected resident of the township of Chaska, passed away at the family home on Wednesday afternoon March 25, 1913,folling a long illness of cancer of the stomach. He was 57 years 4 months and 16 days of age at the time of his death. Last year his health began to failing and he steadily declined. Every effort was made to ascertain the cause of his decline and the of local medical aid was consulted. As a last resort he visited the Doctors at Rochester and an operation was performed. he returned home much improved and for a few weeks it seemed as tho the cause had been removed and he would recover, but it was not to be. and he rapidly failed and the end was only question time. The late deceased born at Elen Begium Nov 9, 1856, and when six years of age came to America and settled with his parents in Chaska and has resided here ever since. On April 24 1885 he was married here to Miss Kate Yerken and the union has been very happy one. Eleven children were born of this union all of whom are living. The are: Herman, Mathew, Mary, Thomas, Elizabeth, Anna, Cornelius, Frank, William, Joseph, and Raymond. He was a good man in the best since of the word, and had many friends and few, if any, enemies He was hardworking and frugal, a good husband and father and a citizen. Whose record is above reproach. He leaves beside his immediate family two brothers, Joseph Klingelhoets of Howard Lake, Michael Klingelhoets of Glenwood, Wis. and three sisters Mrs Henry Brinkhaus, Mrs. Maria Tschimpirle and Mrs. Isabel Ramaker, to all of whom the Herald extends the profound sympathy of the community in their sad bereavement, the death of a noble husband and father and brother. He was a devout member of the catholic church and the funeral occurred here Saturday from the Guardian Angel's church, the Rev. Germaine, officiating. The Peter's Benevolent society, of which he was a member, attended the funeral in a body. interment was in the Catholic cematery
