    • Clyde Otto Schley, age 84, went home to his savior peacefully with his family at his side on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Parkside Care Center in Little Chute, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease.

      Clyde was born on December 28, 1927 in Forest Junction, son of the late Otto and Leona (Wichmann) Schley. He graduated from Kaukauna High School. Clyde served our country in the United States Navy for two years. When he returned, he worked for Oudenhoven Construction Company. On February 11, 1950, Clyde married the love of his life Margaret "Honey" Noffke, and they have shared 62 years together. Clyde continued to work, and he became the Bank President for the Forest Junction State Bank, which later became F & M Bank. He retired from the bank after 42 years. Clyde loved spending time with is family, camping, flying model airplanes, and he devoted his spare time loving his savior by reading the Bible 21 times. Clyde was a member of Zion United Methodist Church where he served as the Church Treasurer, sang in the Church Choir, and taught Confirmation Class. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 126 of Brillion for 50 years, Gideon's International, the Forest Junction Fire Department, and the Sherwood Telephone Company.

      Clyde is survived by his wife Margaret "Honey"; two sons and two daughters-in-law: Otto (Nancy) Schley and Paul (Peggy) Schley; three daughters and three sons-in-law: Sandy (Steve) Eickert, Lori (Bob) Gosz, and Cheri (Steve) VandeYacht; grandchildren: Monica (Stephen) Schieldbach, Andrew (fiancé Rachael Rouse) Schley, David (Beverly) Schley, Timothy Schley, Lea (special friend Tyler Gill) Schley, Amanda (Neil) Wait, Nicole (Tony) Vanstraten, Kimberly (Eric) Tiegs, Matthew Eickert, Crystal Gosz, Amber (special friend Kevin Jackson) Gosz, and Cole VandeYacht; great-grandchildren: Zephyr Schieldbach, Cassandra Wait, Rebecca Wait, Victoria Vanstraten, Addison Gosz-Petitti, and Keyonce' Jackson; one sister and two brothers-in-law: Jean "Jenner" Wydeven, Ray Holschbach, and Leo Huelsbeck; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Otto and Leona, his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Arthur and Frances Noffke, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Ruth (Wilber "Moon") Frederick, Roy (Lorraine) Noffke, Ralph "Bucky" (Dorothy) Noffke, Pearl "Pearlie" Holschbach, Sherman "Shim" (Eileen Deno) Noffke, Harold "Teenie" Noffke, and Bernice "Tootsie" Huelsbeck.

      The Christian Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Zion United Methodist Church in Forest Junction. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Becky Kindshi. Burial will take place in Forest Home Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded by the American Legion Post 126 of Brillion. Friends may call at the church on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m.
