Tuesday, April, 2003 Depatie, Clara Weyenberg nee Fox Little Chute
Age 92, died Sunday, March 30, 2003 in King. She was born June 28, 1910 in Freedom; daughter of the late Peter and Nellie (Kortz) Fox. Clara married George T. Weyenberg in 1930 and he preceded her in death October 21, 1970. She married Fred Depatie, September 27, 1974 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute, where she was a lifetime member. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Little Chute.
Clara is survived by her husband, Fred Depatie; four children: Thomas (Karla) Weyenberg, Little Chute; Angela (Joseph) Van Bakel, Amarillo, Texas; Rita Powell, Navarino, Wisconsin; Lori (Donald) DeGroot, Little Chute; a step-son, Mark (Rose) Weyenberg and a stepdaughter, Jane (Ervin) Van Dyke, both of Little Chute; 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; six step grandchildren, 20 step great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law: Hattie Fox and Dora Hogan; two brothers-in-law: Matt (Virginia) and Henry Weyenberg. Clara was preceded in death by three brothers: George, Edward and Henry (Josephine) Fox; a sister, Cecelia (Edward) Rosenthal; four sisters-in-law: Mary Van Dera, Frances Weyenberg, Rose (Chris) Vanden Heuvel and Ann (Peter) Dercks.
Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2003 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute with Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogan officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
