      Age 80, died Sunday, April 22, 1990, at her home following a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born November 4, 1909, in the Town of Woodville, the daughter of the late Louis and Mary [Mischler] Plutz. She hand her husband, Lawrence, farmed in the Town of Harrison for many years prior to their retirement. She belonged to Holy Angels Catholic Church in Darboy, the St. Anne Society and the Christian Mothers.

      Survivors include a son and daughter in-law, Larry and Carol Kauer, Kaukauna; four daughters and three sons in-law, Eileen Kettner, Phoenix, Arizona; Carol and Tom Kuchelmeister, Ft. Worth, Texas; Lois and Don Straus, Menasha; Beverly and Lee Richard, Menasha; nine grandchildren, Krista and Jason Kauer, Karl Kettner, Sarah and Jeff Kuchelmeister, Kelly and Korey Straus, Tracy and Chad Richard; and a sister, Mildred Rassmeier, Hilbert.

      She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence H. Kauer; three grandchildren, Kevin and Aaron Kauer, Suzette Kettner; two brothers, Louis and Frank Plutz; and a sister, Leona Plutz.

      The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, 1990, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Darboy, with Father Elroy Reimer officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral Home, Kaukauna, from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, and after 8:30 a.m. Wednesday until the cortege leaves for the church. A parish prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday. A memorial fund has been established for the American Cancer Society and the Holy Angels Building Fund.
