    • Carsen J. Rettler, age 5, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2010, unexpectedly at Children's Hospital in Milwaukee. He was born November 16, 2004, to Tara Rettler and the late Jeff Thomson.

      Carsen was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Black Creek. He attended 4K in Shiocton. Carsen had a perfect smile and would light up the room. He enjoyed wrestling, soccer, swimming, spending time outdoors and his John Deere tractor.

      Survivors include his mother, Tara; sister, Kyler; maternal grandparents, Steven and Nancy Rettler, Black Creek; paternal grandparents, Harold and Nancy Thomson, Mountain; aunt, Jill Rettler, Black Creek; uncle, Mathew Rettler, Black Creek; special friends: Steve, Brittany and Nicholas Pierce and Paige Cupp.

      He was preceded in death by his father, Jeff.

      Friends may call at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Black Creek, on Friday, June 25, 2010, from 10 a.m. until services at noon, with Father Theodore Hendricks officiating.
