Carol Wildenberg
Combined Locks
Age 72, died on Friday, April 15, 2005. Carol was born October 13, 1932 to the late Fred and Caroline [Hammond] Koehler in Melrose, Wisconsin. She married Dan Wildenberg on November 4, 1950 at St. Mel's Catholic Church in Chicago. Carol was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Combined where she served as a religious educator for 18 years, she was also a member of the adult choir, where she was the "littlest bass" St. Pauls ever had. Carol studied at St. Norberts College and was very proud of all the classed she has completed. Carol was a charter member of the Fox Valley Golf Club where she scored two of her four hole in ones.
Carol leaves behind the love of her life of 54 years, Dan, Combined Locks; five children, Dan [Karen] Washougal, Washington; Ellen [Roger] Gardner, Oakfield, Wi.; Wendy [Rick] Fulcer, Combined Locks; Kelly [Loretta], Odgenberg and Rocky [Lynn], Appleton; nine grandchildren; Jennifer, Jamie, Tyler, Marcus, Ashley, Katie, Bill, Tracy and Cody; 2.5 great grandchildren Jada, Brady and Mason; her sister, Norma [Franklin] Pease; and her brother, William [Linda] Koehler.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Caroline and Fred Koehler; and brothers, Elwood, Charles, Clair and Fred Jr.; and two sisters, Betty and Bonnie.
Carols funeral service will be 4 p.m. on Monday, April 18, 2005 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Combined Locks, with Father Jim Lucas officiating. Friends will be received Monday at church from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
