      Died December 22, 2003 at UVA Hospital after a short illness. Carole was born in Little Chute, the daughter of Martha (Lamers) and Henry G Weyenberg. She graduated from St John High School in 1953 and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, Oshkosh, in 1956. She married Joe Kronzer of Oshkosh in 1956. Until her illness she was employed at Howard County General Hospital in Columbia, MD.

      She is survived by her husband, Joe; son, Michael (Pam) and their children, Amy, Lindsey and Jay of Landenberg, PA; daughters: Marley (Drew) Williams and their children, Andrew and Courtney of Longmeadow, MA; Betsy (Mike) McConville and their children, Cara, Emily and Megan of Eldersburg, MD; sisters: Shirley (Ted) Schuh of Appleton; Nancy (Jim) Ourada of Wild Rose; and Lynn (Ron) Verhagen of Appleton; Aunt Lois (the late Harold) Lamers of Darboy and Uncle Harry (the late Sis) Valentyne of Kimberly; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

      Memorial services in celebration of her life with internment in the Naval Academy columbarium are planned for January 26, 2004. In lieu of flowers it is requested that donations be made in her name to the American Heart Association.
