Notes - CARLA KATHLEEN SCHUETTE Who lived in Castro Valley for 20 years, died January 23, 2003 at age 58, after an extended battle with cancer. A native of Texas, Carla moved to Pleasant Hill, CA in 1963 where she resided until 1983. Carla enjoyed her friends, her grandchildren and traveling with her husband. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Wayne Schuette of Castro Valley, her sisters, Carolyn Wilson of Indianapolis, IN and Linda Kempff of Shreveport, LA, her brother, David Wakeman of Fort Worth, TX, her sons, Stephen Duran and wife, Kelly of Carrollton, TX and Paul Duran and wife, Lisa of Willits, CA, her stepdaughters, Georgia Gavin and husband, Shaun of Beaverton, OR and Stefanie Price and husband, Wayne of Phoenix, AZ, her grandchildren, Christopher, Camille, Derek, Misty, Stephen, Charlie, Chelsea, Reilly, Alex, Megan and Daniel. Friends are cordially invited to attend a service and reception celebrating her life on February 22, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. at Faith Lutheran Church, 20080 Redwood Rd., Castro Valley.
