Nagan, Carl, Combined Locks Age 74, died peacefully Friday, February 7, 2003 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Catholic Church, Combined Locks with Fr. Robert Vandenberg officiating. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna and after 10 a.m. Monday directly at the church until the time of services. There will be a parish prayer service at 8 p.m. Monday. A full obituary will appear in Sundays paper.

Nagan, Carl P., Combined Locks Age 74, died peacefully Friday, February 7, 2003 at his home surrounded by his family. Carl was born January 31, 1929 to the late Leo J. and Minnie (Otto) Nagan. He married Joan Jansen in 1954 and she preceded him in death in 1968. Carl then married the former Germaine Ozburn in 1969, she survives him. Carl served in the U.S. Army from 1951 until his honorable discharge in 1953. He graduated from UW-Madison and worked for the Combined Locks Mill, the Pacon Corp. and was part owner of Warehouse Specialists Inc. He was past Exulted Ruler of the Kaukauna Elks 962, Treasurer of St. Pauls Catholic Church, Combined Locks for over 40 years and served on the Combined Locks Village Board for over 14 years. Carl loved his grandchildren and spent as much time as possible with all of them. He enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and abroad with his wife, Germaine. Carl also enjoyed camping, boating, golfing and was an avid Packer fan. He also found time to perform bookwork for family, friends and for the Historic Riverside Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Germaine Nagan; his five children, Debbie and Leroy Menting, Joe Driessen, Patty and Mark Baerenwald, Lee and Amy Nagan and Nancy and Tom Vanderloop; eleven grandchildren, Bradley (Casey) Menting, Teresa (Mark) Zimmerman, Ashley Menting, David, Michael, Jeffrey and Megan Baerenwald, Simone Nagan, Brian, Traci and Kevin Vanderloop; two great grandchildren, Brittney and Alyssa Zimmerman; one brother, Don and Ruth Nagan; one sister in law, Eva Nagan; two brothers in law, Jim and Sharon Jansen and Paul and Beverly Ozburn. He will also be greatly missed by his mother in law, Frances Wolfgram and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife and his brother, Roy. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Catholic Church, 410 E. Wallace Street, Combined Locks with Fr. Robert Vandenberg officiating. Friends may call from 4 pm to 8 pm on Sunday at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr. Kaukauna and after 9 a.m. Monday directly at the Church until the time of service. There will be a parish prayer service at 8 p.m. Sunday. Burial will take place in the Parish Cemetery. A memorial is being established in Carls name. The Family would like to thank Dr. Mariano, Dr. Gustafson and Dr. Johnson and the entire Hospice staff, especially Dana.
