      August Fischer, age 94, passed away at 4:49 am Monday at his home after a lingering illness. He was born April 11, 1867 in Germany and came to the UA at age 4 with his parents and settled in West Bloomfield. He has lived in the Cicero Township area for the past 65 years. He farmed at his present address until his retirement. On January 25, 1894 he was united in marriage to Caroline Ganzel in the Township of Cicero. Mr. Fischer is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Christ (Gustie) Pingel Rt. 2, Seymour, Mrs Arthur (Ella) Raether, Black Creek, three sons, Charles, Appleton, Otto, Black Creek, Richard, Rt. 2 Seymour, one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Wiese, Oshkosh, 14 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. An infant daughter preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, township of Cicero with the Rev. Norman Sifferath officiating. Interment in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends may call at ther Muehl Funeral Home, Seymour, after 2 pm Tuesday until 10:30 Wednesday and then at the church until the hour of the service.
