      Arnie Reis departed this earth for his eternal home on Thursday morning, January 26, 2017. Arnie was born April 12, 1927, son of the late Frank and Barbara (Meidl) Reis. In 1951 he married Jean Corbett who preceded him in death. In 1993, Arnie married Darlene Knuijt; she survives. For thirty-eight years, Arnie worked as an industrial electrician in the area. He enjoyed playing cards, golf, and Friday night fish fry's. In his younger years, he enjoyed Boy Scout activities with his sons.

      Arnie is survived by his wife of twenty-four years: Darlene Reis; two sons: Randee Reis and his friend Carolyn and Joe (Aggie) Reis; a sister: Deloris Hieronimczak; and six grandchildren: Kathryn (Mike) Hable and their son Colton; Elizabeth (Gene) Hietpas and their daughters Allison and Kaitlyn; David Reis; Jake (Megan) Reis and their son Weston; Al Reis; and Rebecca (Andrew) Brown and their sons Oliver and Gerald. Arnie was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Rose (Bob), Beatrice (Phil), and Carol (Orville); brothers Isadore (Elaine) and Donnie (Nell); and a brother-in-law: Stanley.

      The funeral liturgy for Arnie will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 30, 2017 at ST. MARY OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION, N2385 Municipal Drive in Greenville, with Fr. Dane Radecki, O. Praem. officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather directly at the church on Monday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.
