    • Mrs. Joseph Schmidt, 59, of Sherwood, died at Calumet Memorial Hospital Monday after a short illness.

      The former Armelia Holzschuh was born Sept. 27, 1903, in the town of Harrison, a daughter of Casper and Jacobina Broker Holzschuh.

      Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Miss Audrey Schmidt, Fond du Lac, Mrs. David Stommel, Sherwood, and Mrs. Robert Wittmann, Appleton; a son, Leroy in Germany; a sisters, Mrs. Anna Derfus, R. 1, Menasha; three brothers, Roman and Ivo, both of R. 1 Menasha, and Norbert Holzschuh of Sherwood, and three grandchildren.

      Funeral services will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sherwood. The Rev. Henry Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
