    • Arleen L. (Vanden Bergh) Guns, 90, joined her husband in Heaven on June 6, 2017. The daughter of William and Catherine (Heezen) Vanden Bergh was born October 5, 1926 in Bellevue. On November 16, 1946, she married Raphael Guns, he preceded her in death on February 9, 1983. The couple farmed in Glenmore for 35 years until May,1982. During this time, they raised 16 children and were blessed with 54 grandchildren, 80 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was a long time member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Glenmore where she was a member of the Altar Society and also taught CCD for 17 years. Her greatest joy was spending time gathered at her home for every holiday, sitting on the swing, birthday parties, playing cards, golf cart rides, and water exercise at the CP Center. A summer highlight with her grandchildren was being their manager of her very own "Grandma's Great's" softball team for the last 15 years. She truly loved life, her family and her LORD.
