- Mrs. Anita A. Ruhland, 77, N6121 Highway 57, Hilbert, passed away Feb. 18, 1988 at Calumet Medical Center, Chilton.
She was born Oct. 7, 1910 in the town of Meeme, the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Seipel) Schneider.
On Oct. 23, 1929, she married Isadore Ruhland at St. Marys Catholic Church, Chilton. He preceded her in death March 30, 1982. The couple farmed in the town of Chilton.
Mrs. Ruhland was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Hilbert, and its Christian Mothers Society and the Hilbert Senior Citizens.
Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Howard (Roselin) Fochs of Hilbert, Mrs. Donna Jensen of Huntington Beach, Calif., Mrs. John (Ruth) Moses of Citrus Heights, Calif., and Mrs. Mark (Barbara) Delforge of DePere; four sons and daughters-in-law; Joe and Karen, Paul and Dianne, Donald and Alice, Leon and Pat, all of Hilbert; 38 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Anton (Amanda) Schuhler of Valders, Mrs. Gene (Ann) Becker of Kansas City, Missouri, and Mrs. Jerome (Eleanor) Woelfel of New Holstein; three brothers, Msgr. Alfred Schneider of Manitowoc, William Schneider of Chilton and Henry Schneider of Hilbert.
She as preceded in death by a grandchild, a great grandchild, a brother, Gilbert; and two sisters, Sally Woelfel and Gertrude Riesterer.
A funeral Mass was concelebrated at St. Marys Catholic Church, Hilbert. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
