    • Mrs. Alvina Steffen. Rt. 2, Appleton
      Passed away at 7:45 Wednesday morning after a lingering illness. She was born in the Town of Center on June 18, 1878. Mrs. Steffen is survived by two sons Erval and Clarence of Rt. 2, Appleton; one brother, William Schultz, Rt. 1, Aniwa, Wis; two sisters, Mrs. Edward Yager, Rt. 2, Appleton and Mrs. William Ashman, Appleton; 5 grandchildren, Bruce, Robert, Howard, Margo and Charmaine. Funeral arragements are incomplete and pending at the Brettschneider Funeral Home.

      Mrs. Alvina Steffen, Rt. 2, Appleton, Wis. Funeral services for Mrs. Steffen will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in the Town of Ellington with Rev. Robert Carter officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Brettschneider Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Friday until 10 a.m. Saturday and after 11 a.m. at the church. Mrs. Steffen was born June 18, 1878 in the Town of Center and lived on a farm in that township all of her life. She passed away at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday after a lingering illness.
