- Altine Marx, 90 of Kimberly died Saturday September 8, 2012 at Theda Clark Medical Center. She was born in Seymour, WI February 4, 1922, daughter of the late Arthur and Frieda (Rihm) Jeske. Altine married Lawrence Marx on November 7, 1941. He preceded her in death on April 6, 1983.
Altine loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren; she was excited to know that two more great grandchildren were on the way in the next couple of months. Family meant everything to Altine. Her other love was being outdoors growing and caring for her flowers. She also enjoyed attending fellowship meetings.
Altine is survived by her three daughters, Dorothy (Robert) Vogelzang, Madison, Joyce (Raymond) Topinka, Appleton, and Margaret (Daniel) Foth, Appleton; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, with two more on the way; two sisters, Adeline Dobesh, Green Bay, and Mary Baseman, Appleton; one brother, Alfred (Loretta) Jeske, DePere; daughter in law, Elaine Frohbieter, Wyoming; a very special friend, her fourth daughter, Mary Schmidt, Little Chute; and many special nieces, nephews, and close friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth; two brothers, Allen and Arthur Jr; and one sister, Mae.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday September 12, 2012 at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME with Robert Eberhardt and Jeffrey Vogelzang co-officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 4:00 until 8:00 PM, and again Wednesday morning beginning at 10:00 AM until the hour of service. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
