      "Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Meyer, 822 E. Wisconsin Avenue, will celebrate their silver wedding anniversary Sunday. A dinner will be served to immediate relatives at one o'clock at Hotel Northern. Mr. Meyer is a son Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Meyer, Potato Point, who celebrated their golden Wedding anniversary on June 25."

      Funeral services for Alma Collins Meyer, wife of Jacob C. Meyer, Spanish War Veteran, were held in Appleton last weekend and burial made there. Born at High Cliff on the shores of Lake Winnebago, 18 Oct 1877, she passed away here 29 May 1945 in the hospital where she had been a patient since the Meyers came from Appleton 12 May 1942. Mrs. Meyer was a member of the Presbyterian Church, of the U.S.V.D. Auxiliary, and she joined the W.R.C. in 1906.
      Besides Mr. Meyer, survivors are three sons and two daughters.
