      Mrs. Gerald M. Schwalenberg [Alice M. Joosten] 585 W. Seneca Dr. Appeton


      Age 71, was called home to the Lord, Saturday morning, May 14, 1994. She was born January 8, 1923 in Little Chute, and had an area resident all of her life. Alice was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.

      She is survived by a daughter and son in-law, Carla and Keith Grotelueschen, Clinton, Iowa; a son and daughter in-law; Rev. Dennis D. and Marelene Schwalenberg, Akron, Ohio; three grandchildren; Gerald, Laura and Andrew Grotelueschen; a brother and sister in-law, Joseph and Rita Joosten, Kaukauna; two sisters; Mary Daanen, DePere; Angela Hooyman, Appleton.

      She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald M. Schwalenberg, on September 18, 1991 and eight brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, 1994 at Faith Lutheran Church, 601 E. Glendale Ave. with Rev. Paul Brinkman officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call directly at the church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. A memorial fund has been established for Faith Lutheran Church. The Wichmann Funeral assisted the family with arraingement.
