- Loiselle, Alcide M. Kimberly
Age 87, passed away at home in Kimberly on Thursday, April 15, 2004. He was born in Saskatchewan, Canada on March 26, 1917, son of the late Joseph and Antonia (Parisen) Loiselle. On May 5, 1945 he married Rosemary Lucassen at St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute. They enjoyed 58 years of marriage. Alcide was proud to serve as a Petty Officer in the Canadian Navy during World War II on Canadas version of the P.T. boat, called a Corvette. Alcide worked as a carpenter for Hofkens and Hoeppner Construction and helped build many homes in the area. He used his talents to help his friends with various building and repairing projects.
Alcide is survived by his wife, Rosemary; Judy (John) Sitek of Marinette, Gene (special friend, Laurie) Loiselle of Kimberly, and Dan Loiselle of Kimberly; grandchildren: Scott (Lori) Sitek, Marci (Troy) Gengler, Jay Sitek, Ellie Sitek; Jennifer (special friend, Josh) Loiselle, Kristy (John) Reider, Kerri Loiselle, Lisa (Josh) Halla; two great grandchildren: Antonia Gengler and Nina Halla; and two sisters: Emma and Ceciel in Canada. He is further survived by numerous relatives and friends.
Alcide is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Ed Loiselle.
The memorial service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2004, at the JANSEN FARGO FUNERAL HOME, 204 East Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
A memorial fund in Alcides name is being established.
