Albert Frederick Tappe
Albert Tappe, age 88, a longtime resident of Sebeka, passed away Monday, July 26, 1976, at the Tri-County Hospital in Wadena, Minnesota.
He was born at Sleepy Eye, Minnesota on Apr 10, 1888, a son of Charles and Louisa Tappe.
Albert farmed and worked sawing timber during his adult years.
He was married to the former Martha Kadell on October 23, 1930 in North Dakota. They have made their home in North Germany Township for many years.
Albert was a member of the Lutheran Church. He was a kind and quit family man.
Besides his wife, Martha, he is survived by three children, Evelyn Milbradt, Della Tappe, and Albert L. Tappe, Jr., all of Sebeka, Minnesota; ten grandchildren plus numerous nephews and nieces and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 31, 1976 at 1:30 P.M. at the Nimrod Lutheran Church with Rev. Robert Luoma officiating. Hymns were sung by the congregation accompanied by Mrs. Les Gronlund on the organ.
The pallbearers were Albert Pickar, Herman Ludtke, Harlod Brocker, Ernest Kleinke, Henry Nolte, and Roy Block. Interment was at the City of Sebeka Cemetery.
Arrangements were with the Cardini Funeral Home, Sebeka, Minnesota.
