      Age 76 passed away at his home Saturday after a lingering illness. Mr. Schubring was born March 2, 1888 in the town of Brillion. His parents were August and Bertha (Moede) Schubring. He married Hattie Ott, May 10, 1911 at Forest Junction and farmed in the town of Brillion his entire life on the homestead. Mr. Schubring was a member of Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church, Forest Junction, and the Gideon Bible Class. Survivors include his wife Hattie, three daughters Mrs. Wilmer (Flora) Persohn, Mrs. Roy (Dorothy) Wink, both of Rt. 1, Brillion, Mrs. Oscar (Betty) Rosin, West DePere, Rt. 1, one son, Lawrence of Collins, 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, four sisters, Mrs. Huldina Knoespel, Rt. 1, West DePere, Mrs. Amelia Luckow, Menasha, Mrs. Adelia Luckow and Mrs. Laura Franzke, Forest Junction, 1 sister and 1 brother preceded him in death. Funeral services will be Monday, 1:30 p.m. at Zion EUB Church, Rev. Theodore Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home, Brillion, Sunday, 2 p.m. until 10:30 a.m. Monday and then at the church until the hour of service.
