- Adeline E. DeWitt 1512 Sullivan Avenue Kaukauna Age 83, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 23, 2000 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. Adeline was born July 1, 1916 in Appleton, daughter of the late Albert and Hattie (Kruse) Selig. On October 5, 1946 she married Albert DeWitt he preceded her in death on March 9, 1998. Adeline will be remembered by all as an avid bingo player and card player. She is survived by two daughters: Sandra (David) Blum, Kaukauna and Debra (Peter) Schuh, Menasha five grandchildren for whom she held a special place in her heart, Michelle (Robert) Leahy, New London Melissa Blum, Waukesha, and her friend Troy Moose Angela Schuh, Menasha, and her friend Cory Wittman Benjamin Schuh, Menasha, and his friend Marie Stiebs Courtney Schuh, Menasha two great-grandchildren: Mackenzie and Dylan Leahy two sisters-in-law, Kate DeWitt, Kaukauna Florence Selig, Appleton. Adeline is further survived by a cousin and dear friend, Ruth Barth, Windsor, Wisconsin a special Bingo pal, Theresa Buchberger, Kaukauna and by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents her husband of 51 years, Albert, in 1998 brothers, Albert (Mary Ann) Selig, Elmer Selig, Harry (Wilma) Selig, Fred Selig Sr., and infant brothers, Chester and Walter sisters, Loretta (August) Welhouse, Mildred (Ervin) Wiedenhaupt, and Anita Jensen. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2000 at 7 p.m. at ZION LUTHERAN CHURCH, 912 N. Oneida Street in Appleton with the Reverend Larry Matthews and the Reverend. Steven Nelson officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call Tuesday directly at the church from 5 p.m. until the hour of the service. FARGO FUNERAL HOME 400 W.
