      Clarence J. Schrieber

      Clarence J. Schrieber, 39, route 4, Appleton, died at 11:15 Saturday morning after a 2 week illness. He was born February 24, 1909, in the Town of Harrison and was a lifelong resident of that town. He was a member of the Catholic Knights of which he was secretary treasurer and of the Holy Name society of Holy Angels church at Darboy, serving as a past president of that group.

      Survivors are the widow, his mother, Mrs. Mary Schrieber, Town of Harrieson; three brothers, Fred, Menasha; Herman, route 4, Appleton; and Michael, route 2, Appleton; six sisters, Mrs. Frank Dietzen, route 4, Appleton; Mrs. Carl Beck,Menasha; Mrs. Jacob Wolter, Appleton; Mrs. Phillip Dietzen, route 4, Appleton; Mrs. Lloyd Fields, Appleton; and Mrs. Martin Weyers, Kaukauna.

      Funeral services will be held at 9:30 Wednesday morning at Holy Angels Church at Darboy and the cortege will form at the Laemmrich Funeral Home at Menasha at 8:45. The Rev. Andrew Linsmeyer will have charge of the service and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening and the rosary will be recited at 8 the evening and 8 Tuesday night.
