      Thiel, Donna Jeanne "Jeanne" Mrs. Wayne Thiel, of Shawano, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2006, at Appleton Medical Center. She was born on December 22, 1931, in Appleton to the late George and Marie (Felzer) Thies. On July 4, 1951, she married Wayne C. Thiel, and they shared 54 wonderful years. She will be greatly remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

      Jeanne will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Wayne; her children: Vicki (Mike) Vandenberg, Town of Holland; Chuck (Dori) Thiel, Black Creek; Bobbie (Denny) Gerrits, Seymour; grandchildren: Beth (Brandon) Sanderfoot, Michael Vandenberg, Chris (Paula) Thiel, Jeremy (Rachael) Thiel, Travis Thiel (special friend Renee Smith), Brandon Gerrits; great-grandchildren: Caleb, Colin, Dylan, and Trina. She is further survived by two brothers: Robert Thies, Evergreen, CO; and James (Georgia) Thies, Marinette.

      In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, George "Sonny" Thies.

      Jeanne's wishes were to have private family services held, and they will be officiated by Rev. Gary Nockleberg. Interment will be in Appleton's Highland Memorial Park. Condolences and memorials are appreciated to the family in Jeanne's name.

      The family would like to thank Pastor Gary and the wonderful I.C.U. staff at Appleton Medical Center for the loving care given to Jeanne and her family.
