- Robert H. Devroy, 89, Howard, passed away peacefully on his birthday, November 19, 2015 with his family by his side. He was born on November 19, 1926. On September 6, 1950 he was united in marriage with the love of his life Marguerite. Robert took great pride in his family. He enjoyed time spent at the cottage, fishing, playing cards and dancing. He was a man dedicated to his faith and volunteered at church. Robert served in the U.S. Army during WWII and in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
Robert will be deeply missed by Roberta (David) Kozloski; David (Debbie) Devroy; Jeff (Connie) Devroy; Lisa (Larry) Sendra; grandchildren, Laurie (Wade) Lotto; Steven (Charity) Devroy; Brian Devroy; Stephanie (Al) James; Cassie, Becca and Joshua Sendra; Brandon and Megan Devroy; great grandchildren, Brooke, Kimmi, Samantha, Ethan, Kayla, Logan, Dominick and Jeremiah. He is further survived by his sister, Mildred Hale and special cousin, Laverne Devroy.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite; grandson, Craig Kozloski; sisters and brothers-in-law.
Relatives and friends are welcome to join in the Celebration of Robert's Life at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane, on Monday, Nov. 23, 2015 from 4 until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 until 11:00 a.m. at Ss. Edward & Isidore Catholic Church, 3667 Flintville Road, Suamico. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church with Father David Hoffman officiating.
