      Age 92, died Satruday, September 21, 10991. she was born on June 2, 1899 in Kaukauna, the daughter of the late William and Martha (Wanke) Brown. Anna was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Catholic church and she enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law:Elsie and Loyal Schmaltz, Kaukauna; Margaret VanDenHeavel, California; a son-in-law Ted Schroeder, Appleton; seven grandchildren: Gary, Greg, and Scott Liethen; Cindy Marx; Linda Brouillard; Brian and Daniel Steffens; seven great-grandchildren: Joe and Samantha Steffens; Brent Brouillard; Jebb Filz, Jacquelyn, Tonya and Whitney Liethen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; a son, Clifford; a daughter, June Schroeder; five brothers: Joe, Bill, Elmer, Walter, and Sylvester Brown; two sisters: Frances Plutz, Viola Kreiling, a grandson, Mark Steffens. The Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 1991 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart CAtholic Church, 222 E. Fremont St. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St. on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the cortege leaves for church. A parish prayer and scripture service will be held Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. A memorial fund is being established.
