- Funeral Services at 11 Today for Harriet Merbach
funeral services for Mrs. Walter (Harriet) Merbach, 69, will be at 11 a.m. today (Thursday) at St. John Catholic Church, St. John, with the Rev. Kenneth Frozena officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
Mrs. Merbach of @3650 Custer Road, Hilbert, died early Tuesday, June 5, 1984.
the former Harriet De Bruin was born May 18, 1915, the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Van Dinter De Bruin. She had lived and farmed in Calumet County most of her life. She and her husband, Walter, had been married 47 hears. Mrs. Merbach was a member of the Christian Mothers Society of St. John's Church.
survivors include her husband, Walter; a son, Dennis of Kimberly; three sisters and two brothers-in=law, Mrs. Jeanette Wildenberg of Little Chute, Bernice and Orry Schmalz of Kaukauna, and Erma and Kermit Johnson of Racine; two sisters-in=law, Bernice De Bruin of Kimberly, and Hattie De Bruin, of Wheaton, IL; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Richard.
Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral Home, Kaukauna, after 8:30 a.m. today (Thursday) until the cortege leaves for the church.
A memorial has been established for the Diabetes and Heart Funds.
