- When Millie and Milton married they first lived on the Iverson farm, east of Bonduel. Then in 1952 they moved 7 miles east of Bonduel, to their current home in the Town of Lessor. There they were dairy farming until their children left home and since then have been cash cropping on the farm. Millie is an active member of the Shawano County Homemakers Club and of her church, Our Savior's Lutheran Church, on Co. Hwy S, 9 miles SW of Pulaski, WI. Janet lives in South Carolina and married Rembert J. Lane on September 18, 1993.
Curtis lives at Fremont, WI, with his wife, Mary Lynn (Weinbaur), and was married September 29, 1973. They have three sons: Aaron Kyle, born September 8, 1981; Adam Andrew, born July 26, 1989; and Kyle Robert, born October 13, 1992.
Steven lives in Shawano, WI, with his wife, Diane (Sumnicht) and her daughter, Lois, born December 28, 1991. Steven and Diane married on December 4,2003.
Joyce married Kevin Christensen married on May 31, 1986. Kevin was born January 7, 1964. Joyce and Kevin have three children: Allison Marie, born March 10, 1991; Abigail Lynn, born August 19,1994; and Walker Lee, born November 4, 1996.
- Mildred Marie Bohm, age 87, of Seymour, passed away on November 11, 2017. Born on April 1, 1930 in Shawano County, Mildred was the eighth of ten children born to the late Christ and Cora (Sachs) Colling. On October 29, 1949 Mildred was united in marriage to Milton Bohm at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour. Milton preceded her in death on November 29, 2010. Mildred was an active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in the Town of Lessor and the Landstad Ladies HCE (Homemakers). Mildred was a wonderful housewife and mother. She loved children and often babysat for the children from the neighborhood and her beloved grandchildren.
Mildred is survived by: her children, Janet Lane of Bonduel, Curtis (Mary) Bohm of Fremont, Steven (Robin) Bohm of Freedom, and Joyce (Kevin) Christensen of Appleton; grandchildren, Aaron Bohm, Adam (Chivon) Bohm, Kyle (Kristie) Bohm, Allison Christensen, Abigail Christensen, and Walker Christensen; two great grandchildren, Macy Marie and Jubilee Rose Bohm; a brother, Nicholas Colling; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her husband Milton; a daughter, Susan Marie; daughter-in-law, Diane Bohm; her parents; and siblings, Esther, Leonard, Alice, Robert, Theresa, Gertrude, Franklin, and Frances.
A funeral service for Mildred will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Swedberg Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel with Rev. Mike Dismer officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. Visitation will be held at Swedberg Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel on Saturday from 11:00am until the time of the service.
