- Sylvester Kuster rites to be in Waldorf
WELLS Sylvester P. Kuster, 66, Vivian Township, Waseca County, died Sunday morning at St. Joseph's hospital, Mankato. He had been ill since September, 1973.
He was born in Faribault County, Nov. 3, 1907, to Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Elizabeth Kuster. He farmed near the Freeborn and Alden areas until moving to the Matawan area 30 years ago. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Waldorf.
September 22, 1930, he married Evelyn Hass at Wells.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Gerald, rural Wells; four sisters and one brother; Mrs. Bertwin (Anne) Krosch, Mrs. Alvin (Helen) Miller, Mrs. Harold (Marie) Kauffmann, Mrs. Leo (Margaret) Hassing and Leo Kuster, all of Wells.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Waldorf. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic cemetery, Waldorf.
Friends may call at the Heitner Funeral chapel, Wells, beginning at 2 p.m. Tuesday. A prayer service will be at the chapel at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter in infancy.
