    • Rosella "Sally" N. (Lemmens, Abel) Ossmann, 91, of Seymour, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, July 30, 2017 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Seymour. She was born September 24, 1925, daughter of the late Martin and Elizabeth (Derricks) Lemmens. On July 8, 1944, she was united in marriage to Arvin Abel. He preceded her in death October 24, 1985. She was a housewife first and a cook for the Seymour School District for 30 years retiring in June of 1995. Sally then met her best friend and traveling partner Ernest N. Ossmann. They were united in marriage March 6, 1999. Together they put many miles on their van. He preceded her in death August 11, 2010.

      Sally was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour. Her Sunday mornings were spent there with Arvin and their children and later with Ernest. Sally enjoyed playing cards and traveling. Most of all Sally enjoyed family time and she will be missed dearly.

      Sally is survived by her daughter: Linda (John) Vanden Langenberg; daughter-in-law, Sally Abel; grandchildren: Scott (Christine) Abel, David (Emmy) Vanden Langenberg, Kevin (Donna) Abel, Jason (Carrie) Abel; five great-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren; one brother, John "Flash" Lemmens; two sisters, Esther Gerrits and Harriet Rolkosky; many brothers and sisters-in-law: Verna Lemmens, Vernon Ossmann, Lydia Tews, Lavern Ziemer, Elaine Court, Ione Kuehne, and Arlene Ossmann; nephews and nieces and many friends.

      Preceded in death by her son, Ronald Abel; sisters: Josephine Coenen, Anna Abel, Martha Melchert, Marie Hoes; brothers, Bernard Lemmens and Arnold Lemmens; brothers and sisters-in-law: Carlton Abel, Alvin Abel, Eleanor Mueller, Arlene Pionek, Lorraine Schmidt, Everett Abel, Virgil Abel, Gerald Abel, Emerald, Marvin, Emerson, Amos, Ernest and Robert Ossmann.

      Friends may call at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, from 1:00 pm until services at 3:00 pm with Rev. Roland Lindeman officiating. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com
