Dorothy Anne ( Deltour Retzlaff ) Cumber age 75 passed away Tuesday, November 28, 1995 at the Omro Care Center. She was born January 4, 1920 in
Appleton, daughter of the late Charles and Sadie ( Horn ) Deltour. Dorothy married Wilbert Charles Retzlaff in 1939; he preceded he in death in 1943. In
1947, she marred Franklin John Cumber; he preceded her in death in 1958. Prior
to and for a short time after her marriage, she was employed by Zwickers Knitting
Mills in Appleton. As long as her health permitted, she enjoyed playing bingo, arts and crafts and reading. Survivors include four sons; Roger ( Barbara) Retzlaff, Appleton; Gerald ( Ellen ) Retzlaff, Tustin; Timothy ( Jean ) Retzlaff,
Kaukauna; Steven ( Janeanne ) Cumber, Oshkosh; three daughters; Karen (Robert) Young, Omro; Janet Greenwood, Oshkosh; Cindy Cumber, Omro; 22
grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; a brother; Michael Deltour, Appleton; and
a sister in-law; Katie Deltour, Appleton.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, two daughters; Victoria and Rebecca Cumber; a sister; Lucille Deltour, and a brother; Arthur 'Bud' Deltour.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A. M. Friday, December 1, 1995 at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St. Appleton, with Rev. Dennis E. Ellisen of Our Saviors Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 4-8 P.M. at Wichmanns Funeral Home, and again Friday at the Funeral after 10 A.M.
