Concelebrated Mass Friday For Margaret Reider
Mrs. Richard (Margaret Peeters) Reider
Age 58, of 209 N. John St., Kimberly, died Wednesday morning, October 21, 1996 after a courageous battle with cancer. She had been an active member of both parish and community groups at Kimberly. A concelebrated mass will be said at 12 noon Friday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Kimberly with her brothers, Father Thomas R. Peeters and Father Ambrose Peeters concelebrating the mass, along with Father Greg Smith, associate pastor at Holy Name. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.Born on January 9, 1923, in Little Chute, Mrs. Reider had made her home in the Little Chute, Kimberly area all of her life. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church, the New Life Choir of the church, the Ladies of Holy Name, the Bible Study Group, and the Catholic Lady Foresters. She was a member of the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women and had served as president of Vicariate No. 9. She was also a member of the Kimberly Homemakers. And the Auxiliary to Kimberly Post No. 60, American Legion.
Survivors include her husband, Richard; two daughters and sons in-law, Judy and Mike Borg and Carol and Norm Shepherd, all of of Appleton; seven brothers, Fr. Thomas R. Peeters of Green Bay, James Peeters of Little Chute, Gerald Peeters of Neenah, Fr. Ambrose Peeters of De Pere, and Peter, Henry and Robert Peeters, all of Kalamazoo, Michigan; one sister, Mrs. Robert (Doris) Heiss of Appleton; and two grandchildren, Lorin and Sean.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Richard Peeters. Friends may call at the Jansen-Fargo Funeral Home, Kimberly, from 4 unti 9 p.m. today (Thursday), and after 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service. There will be a Catholic Lady Forester service at 6:30 p.m., a legion auxiliary service memorial service at 7 p.m and a prayer service at 8 p.m. today.
