Services Held At St. John Church For Mrs. Peeters
Funeral services for Mrs. Richard (Anna Weyenberg) Peeters of Little Chute, were at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute, with the Rev. Thomas Peeters, Rev. Ambrose Peeters, Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen, and the Rev. John Blaha officiating. Interment was in the parish cemetery.
Mrs. Peeters died at 7 p.m. Saturday after a brief illness. She was 82. She was born October 8, 1894 in Little Chute, and had lived in the Little Chute area all of her life with the exception of ten years in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was a 50 year member of the Catholic Order of Foresters, and an honorary member of the Christians Mothers.
Survivors are her husband, Richard; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Doris) Heiss of Appleton, and Mrs. Richard (Margaret) Reider of Kimberly; seven sons, Rev. R. Thomas Peeters of St. Wendel parish, Cleveland, Wisconsin; James, Little Chute; Gerard of Neenah; Rev. Ambrose Peeters, O'pream of St. Willebrord parish, Green Bay; Donald, Peter, and Robert, all of Kalamazoo; a brother, Martin Weyenberg of Little Chute; two sisters, Mrs. Floyd Kessler of Appleton; and Mrs. Charles Meyerle of Holbrook, Nebraska; 34 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son Carl. The Verkuilen Funeral Home, Little Chute was in charge of arrangements.
