Age 54, died Sunday, August 29, 1993 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center following a short illness with cancer. He was born November 19, 1938 in Antigo, the son of Joseph and Alice [Arndt] Seggelink. He married Patricia McDonnell on June 29, 1963 in Oshkosh. Lee was employed by the City of Neenah for over 30 years before his retirement in 1989. He was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Neenah. He was a U.S. Army National Guard veteran having served with the 32nd Division, 127th Infantry, retiring after 22 years of service. He was a member of the Neenah Veterans of Foreigh Wars Post No. 10893; a member and service officer of the American Legion Hawley-Dieckhoff Post No. 33 and a member of the American Legion Winnebago County 40 et 8 group.
Lee is survived by his wife; Patricia; a daughter and son in-law Jean Anne and Kerry Hamilton, Neenah; a son; James Michael, at home; a brother and sister in-law; Fred and Patricia, Medford, Oregon; a sister; Mary Seggelink, Madison; his father and mother in-law; Charles and Anne McDonnell, Oshkosh; a sister in-law; Mary [Robert] Gogolewski, Stoughton.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Linda Seggelink.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 1, 1993 in the Kessler Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at St. Gabriel Catholic Church with Rev. Richard L. Allen officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday where a parish prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. A combined American Legion and VFW service will be held at 7:30 p.m. A memorial has been established. Military rites will be conducted at the cemetery.
