- Gordon (Butch) Vandenberg
616 South Harrison St., Little Chute
Age 58, passed away unexpectedly Friday at 8:30 a.m.
He was born January 13,1914 In Freedom and was
employed with Thilmany Pulp and Paper Corp. as a
Sample Clerk. He was a member of the American
Legion Post 258, Little Chute, a member of the
Barbershoppers, a World War II veteran. Survivors are
his wife, Lucille Sigl Vandenberg; three daughters, Mrs.
Tom (Jean) Langenhuizen, Kimberly, Mrs. Dennis (Jane)
Hooyman, Little Chute, and Beth, at home; three sons,
John, Ronald, and Thomas, all at home; four brothers,
Joe, Appleton, Ted, Sherwood, Elmer, Freedom, and
Merle, Kimberly; six sisters, Mrs. Ella Hooyman,
Kaukauna, Mrs. Jane Meyers, Appleton, Mrs. MIn
Verstegen, Mrs. Frank (Agnes) De Bruin, both of Little
Chute, Mrs. Florence De Munck, Kimberly, Mrs. Jasper
(Myrtle) Liebergen, Wrightstown; and a granddaughter,
Melanie Hooyman. Funeral services will be held at 10
a.m. Monday at St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute,
with interment in the parish cemetery. The Rev.
Norbert VandeLoo will officiate. Friends may call at the
Verkuilen Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Sunday and the
Legion Prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday
evening and the parish prayer service will be held at
7:30 p.m. Sunday.
