- John T. Vanden Heuvel "Johnny the Baker" 165 W. Foster St. Age 66, died unexpectedly Sunday morning. He was born June 28, 1914 in Kimberly and had resided in Appleton for most of his life. Mr. Vanden Heuvel was a former bus driver in Appleton, rretireing six years ago. He then opened and managed the Big Family Buying Club. He was a member of Sacred Heard Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Magdaline Dresang Vanden Heuvel; three daughters: Mrs. Clifford (Diane) Olson, Mrs. Dave (Judy) Zeutzius, and Mrs Barbara Standiford, all of Appleton; three sons: Carl, Bob and Don, all of Appleton; three sisters: Mrs. Dorothy Laux, Florida; Mrs. Charles (Jane) Kessler and Mrs. Steve (Betty) Nash, both of Appleton; and 12 grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10:30 a. m. Tuesday at Sacred Heard Catholic Church, with the Rev. Wilbert Staudenmaier officiating. Entombment will be Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the BRETTSCHNEIDER-TRETTIN FUNERAL HOME from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday and after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday until the cortege leaves for the church.
