Mrs. Walter (Wilhelmina Weyenberg) Kieffer, 87, Freedom, died this morning at Appleton after a long illness. She was born November 14, 1870 in Freedom, and has lived there most of her life.

The funeral services will be hel at 9:30 Saturday morning at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom, with the burial in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the Coffey Funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening. The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock this evening and Friday evening at the funeral home.

Survivors include four sons, Joseph, Green Bay, George, De Pere, Martin, Freedom, and Laurence, Appleton; Two brothers, Peter Weyenberg, Kimberly, and William Weyenberg, Appleton; fourteen grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren..

Age 47, passed away unexpectedly at 7:15 a.m. Thursday. He was born October 12, 1916 in the Town of Freedom. He was employed at the Liethen Corporation and has been a resident of Appleton for the past 18 years. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the and the Holy Name Society.

Mr. Diedrick is survived by his wife Mary, four sons, James, Richard, David, and Mark, all at home; one brother, Clarence, Kaukauna; two sisters, Mrs. Michael [Agnes] Lappen, Lunds, Wisconsin; Mrs. Leo [Mabel] Lappen, Appleton.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. at St, Mary Catholic Church, the cortege forming at 9:30 a.m. at the Brettschneider Funeral Home. Bruial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday. Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Age 59, died Monday evening, July 15, 1985 at his home following a six month courageous battle with cancer. He was born December 22, 1925 in Wrightstown and had been a Kaukauna resident nearly all of his life. He had been employed at Appleton Papers Locks Mill for 42 years until his recent retirement. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukauna, was on the Board of Directors of Combined Locks Credit Union for 12 years, Financial Secretary fo the Local Paper Makers Union for eight years and was a U.S. Navy Veteran and member of the VFW Post No. 3319 of Kaukauna.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys [Lamers] Vaubel; his mother; Mrs. Josephine Vaubel, both of Kaukauna; three daughters and sons in-law; Nancy and Mike Jacobson, Cambridge, Massachusetts; Karen and Dr. Dan Heyerdahl, Appleton; Jane and Dan Brochtrup, Kaukauna; a son, Tom Vaubel, Ripon; two sisters in-law; Ethel Vaubel, Appleton; Noreen Vaubel, Little Chute; three sisters and brothers in-law; Arlene and John Wolfe, Columbus, Ohio; Lorraine and Bob Nechodem, Little Chute; Bonita and Gib Zieier, Kaukauna; four grandchildren; Heather and Sarah Heyerdahl; Leah and Mark Brochtrup.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence; and two brothers; Arnold and Merle.

Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with Rev. Ted Hendricks officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church from 4 p.m. Wednesday until the hour of service. A memorial has been established in his name. The Greenwood Funeral Home, Kaukauna assisted the family with the arrangements.

Age 69, died unexpectedly at 1 PM Tuesday. He was born December 8, 1909, in Little Chute, where he resided all of his life. Mr. Weyenberg had owned and operated Weyenberg's Grocery Store prior to his retirement. He was also retired from Eggers Hardwood Products, Neenah, and was presently employed part time at Gordy's Food Fair, Little Chute. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters, the Little Chute Golden Agers and the Senior Citizen Golf and Bowling League.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Lamers Weyenberg; four daughters; Mrs. Ted (Shirley) Schuh, Appleton; Mrs. Joseph (Carole) Kronzer, El Cajon, Ca.; Mrs. James (Nancy) Ourada, Barrington, Ill.; Mrs. Ronald (Lynn) Verhagen, Appleton; two brothers; Florian Bud and George Sonny, both of Little Chute; a sister, Mrs. Harry (Sis) Valentyne, Kimberly; ten grandchildren; Julie and Jennifer Schuh; Michael, Marley, Betsy Kronzer; Jill, Mark, Eric Ourada; Rob and Peter Verhagen.

Age 102, died Friday, October 24, 1997. He was born August 22, 1895 in Darboy, son of the late Frank and Louise (Schwalbach) Stumpf.

He is survived by two sons, Roy (Hallie) Stumpf, Green Bay, Robert (Jeanne) Stumpf, Neenah; two daughters, Mae (Howie) Stellmacher,Baraboo; Margaret Stumpf, Appleton; 12 grandchildren; Mary Jean (Jim) Hujet,Barbara Giese, Deborah Stumpf, Roy (Sarah ) Stumpf, all of Green Bay; John (Jenna) Stellmacher, Jefferson, Brian (Crea) Stellmacher, Baraboo, Rob ( Beth)Stellmacher, Bolingbrook, Ill. Ken (Tracy) Stellmacher, Reno, Navada; Carrie (Larry)Smits, Green Bay; Chayne(Tammy) Kosloske, San Francisco, Ca. Henry farmed with his brothers prior to serving his country in active combat during WWI. He fought in four major battles in France and Germany, receiving the Silver Star for gallantry in action during the Meuse Argonne Offense. After his return fromactive duty he resumed farming and started a trucking career. He continued trucking until his retirement at age 72. He founded the Darboy American LegionPost and served as its first commander for ten years. On October 17, 1934 hemarried Margaret Wallace of Darboy. Henry and his wifeMargaret moved to Neenah and were charter members of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Neenah. They remained active members until their death. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the WWI Veterans, Catholic Knights and the Sunbeam Singers. Mr. Stumpf especially enjoyed music, singing and entertaining other on many occasions.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 27, 1997, at St. Margaret Mary Church with Rev. David Koch officiating. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. Friends may call at the Kessler Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday and at the church from 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the service. A prayer service will be held at 7 :45 p.m. Sunday. A memorial has been established.

Age 18, died Sunday morning. He was born May 31, 1958 and lived in Stephensville all of his life. He graduated from Hortonville High School, class of 1976 and had been employed with his father in farming. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Stephensville.

Little Chute

Age 97, died Tuesday, December 2, 2003 at Parkside Care Center. She was born October 31, 1906 in Grand Chute; daughter of Joseph and Nell (Verkuilen) Wildenberg. Alma married Charles Blackburn in Chicago in 1956 and he preceded her in death. She resided and was employed in Chicago all her working life and retired and moved to Winneconne in 1974.

She is survived by a brother, Joe (Ann) Wildenberg, Kimberly; a sister-in-law, Irene Wildenberg, Combined Locks; two God children: Dan Wildenberg Sr. and Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews.

Alma was also preceded in death by her brothers: Bill, Scott, Wally and Urban Wildenberg; sisters: Etta Vanden Boogaard and Josephine Jansen.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 4, 2003 at the Verkuilen Funeral Home with Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service.

Edward Sprangers

Edward Sprangers, 5 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Sprangers, Combined Locks, died at his home Friday evening following a lingering illness.

His parents and eight brothers and sisters survive. The funeral wil be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church of Combined Locks at 9 o'clock Monday morning, with burial in the Darboy Cemetery.

Van Dyke, Jane F.

Jane F. Van Dyke, of Little Chute, age 82, died Tuesday, April 26, 2005, at her residence with her family at her side. She was born in Little Chute on July 24, 1922, daughter of George and Marie (Dercks) Weyenberg. She graduated from St. John High School in 1940. On August 31, 1946, Jane married the love of her life, Ervin Van Dyke at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, where she was a lifetime member. Jane was a loving wife, caring mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. She enjoyed golf, bridge, reading and cross-stitch. Jane was a legal secretary for G.H. Van Hoof, Little Chute attorney. During World War II, when Gerry went into the service, she worked for Judge Jolin at the Outagamie Courthouse in Appleton. When Gerry returned from service, Jane went back to his law firm until her children were born. She returned to the legal profession for a brief time, working for the District Attorney in Outagamie County. When her children were older, she worked for the Village of Little Chute as Deputy Clerk. She retired from this position in 1985.

She is a 58-year member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #436, Wrightstown, where she served as president of the unit in 1949 and 1950. She has been their secretary for the past 40 plus years.

In addition to her husband, Jane is further survived by two children: Daniel Van Dyke, Hortonville and Barbara (Mark) Mollen, Kaukauna; six grandchildren: Andrea (Jade) Olson, Vicki (Kevin) Quinn, Bridget Van Dyke, Jason Mollen (fiancee Sheila Clark), Matt Mollen (special friend Tricia Denton) and Ben Mollen; two great-grandchildren, Austin and Walker; five siblings: Mark Weyenberg, Tom (Karla) Weyenberg, Angela (Joseph) Van Bakel, Rita Powell, and Lori (Don) DeGroot; three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law: Rosita (George) Spierings, Helen Van Dyke and Carol Newhouse. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step mother, Clara Weyenberg; brothers and sisters-in-law: Edward (Betty), Elmer, Lloyd (Ruth) and Sylvester Van Dyke, Rose Weyenberg and Morris Powell; and a god child, Ann Weyenberg Storch.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2005, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute. The Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen will officiate. The family will receive friends and family at church Saturday after 8:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment St. Paul Cemetery, Wrightstown.

The family wishes to thank the Theda Care Hospice Program. The nurses and caregivers are angels of mercy.

Miss Louise G. Wallace 200 S. 9th st. De Pere

Age 72, died Tuesday, August 9, 1988 after a lengthy illness. She was born March 26, 1916 in Canada to Patrick and Theresa Wallace. Louise was employed by Wisconsin Telephone Co. in Appleton for over 30 years, and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, and the Appleton Homemakers Club. She enjoyed traveling and the outdoors, especially bicycling, and swimming. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. Louise was a member of St. Thomas Moore Parish.

Survivors include two brothers and sisters in-law; Kenneth and Clara Wallace, Bella Vista, Arkansas; Clarence and Delores Wallace, Appleton; two sisters and a brother in-law; Reginia Garvey, West Allis; Florence and Michael Garvey, De Pere; also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Wallace, and two sisters; Viola Seegers and Irene Mason.

Complete funeral services will be Friday, August 12, 1988 at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church, 1825 N. McDonald St. with Fr. Gerald R. Falk officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St. Thursday from 4 until 8 p.m. and on Friday from 8 a.m. until the cortege leaves for the church. Age 65, died unexpectedly Monday, December 1, 1997 following a short illiness. He was born December 12, 1931 in Kimberly, son of the lat Arnold and Petronelli [Schoppema] Lamers. Herman served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952-1956, having been stationed in Harlingen, Texas and Thule, Greenland. On June 14, 1955 he married the former Ellen Stumpf at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Darboy. He was a member of Holy Angels Catholic church and the Leo Van Roy Post 265 of the American Legion.

Pat Weyenberg, 84, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2003 at a local hospital. He was born in Appleton on June 11, 1919 to the late Ellen Weyenberg. On August 29, 1942, he married Virginia Burke. Shortly thereafter, he joined the Army Air Corps and served his country from 1942 to 1946. Pat was a long-time member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Appleton and was a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He was employed as Manager of the Columbus Club in Appleton for 25 years. After his retirement from the Columbus Club, Pat enjoyed employment as a substitute crossing guard in Appleton and assisting 3rd Ward voters on election days at the polls located at Edison School. Pat was a life-long lover of animals, horses and dogs being his favorites. He was also an accomplished musician, playing classical violin as a youth as well as guitar and harmonica. He obtained his pilot’s license while in the military, but abandoned flying when be became a father. One of Pat’s greatest joys was spending time with his family. He enjoyed recalling tales from his early years growing up on the family farm and offering what his children refer to as “Pat-isms”. His strength of character, generosity, integrity and sense of humor will be sorely missed.

Pat is survived by his children: William (Cheryl) Weyenberg, Michael (Denise) Weyenberg and Ellen (Gary) Hartzheim; and by his grandchildren: Todd (Deanna) Weyenberg, Jennifer (Marc) Smith, Lindsey Weyenberg and Nicole Weyenberg. He is further survived by his great-grandchildren: Kelsey Weyenberg, Grace Weyenberg, Connor Smith and Olivia Weyenberg. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ginny.

A private service for Pat was held at Valley Funeral Home on Saturday, October 18, 2003. Entombment is at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.
A memorial fund has been established at St. Vincent Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Green Bay.

William J. Brienen Dies In Milwaukee

William J. Brienen, 34, former Green Bay residaen, died at 8 o'clock Sunday evening at a Milwaukee hospital where he was operated on a week before for appendictis and ruptured ulcers. Pneumonia developed Tuesday.

The body was brought to Green Bay this afternoon and will be at the home of Mr. Brienen mother. Mrs. Anton Brienen, 919 Bellevue Ave.

Surviving hime are his wife, and four months old son, James, Milwaukee; his mother, four sisters; Mrs. Joseph Lambert, Mrs. M. Fuller, Miss Ann Brienen and Sr. Antonina, Racine; and two brothers; Carl and Henry, Green Bay.

Mrs. Nellie Verstagen Dies This Morning

De Pere-Mrs. Nellie Verstegen, 85, a resident of this community since childhood and the widow of Albert Verstagen, died this morning in the McCormick Memorial Home, where she had lived a number of years.

The funeral of the aged woman will be held here Wednesday morning with a requlem mass at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's Church and interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Mrs. Verstagen who was born in Holland, was brought to this country when a baby by her parents. She was a sister of Martin and Peter Weyenberg, Appleton, and William Weyenberg who preceded her in death. They were Milwaukee Shoe Manufacturers. Mrs. Verstagen resided on a farm at Wrightstown many y ears, and in this city until after the death of her husband. There were no children.

Rites for John Hopfensperger 61, At St. Mary's Church This Morning

John Hopfensperger, 61, died at his home 1531/2 East Third St. at 7:45 a.m. Sunday after a three year illness. He was born in this city March 25, 1879, and farmed in Sherwood until two years ago when he retired and came to Kaukauna to live.

Survivors are his widow; his stepmother, Mrs. William Hopfensperger of Appleton; three daughters, Mrs. Hubert Vander Linden of Combined Locks, Mrs. Norman Wiedenhaupt, Kaukauna, Mrs. Leonard Seidling of Pine River, four sons, Herman of Menasha, Andrew of Neenah, Daniel of Red Granite and Albert of Greenleaf, nine brothers, William of Rozellville, Peter of Junction City, Frank of Abbotsford, Joseph, Herman, Alex, Harry, Raymond and Eugene of Appleton; four sisters, Mrs. Henry Zimmerman of Menasha, Mrs. Arthur Secvene of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Albert Smith of Green Bay and Mrs. Earl Sullivan of Neenah; and 26 grandchildren.

Age 64, died at his home Friday, following a short illness. He was born in Stanley on June 14, 1924, son of the late Jacob and Ann Weyenberg. He was married to Betty Reinke on September 18, 1957, in Appleton. He was employed as a foreman for Asplundh Tree Expert Company for 40 years, retiring in 1986.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; a brother and sister in-law, John and Tillie, Portland, Oregon; two sisters; Sister Marian Frances Weyenberg, Huntington, Indiana; Bernice [Dolly] Miller, Appleton; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by six brothers; Joseph, Edwin, Jerome, Robert, Richard and Harold; and two sisters; Eleanore and Lucy.

Survices will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church with the Rev. Ronald Colombo officiating. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park. Age 42, died Wednesday, May 13, 1992 at Appleton Medical Center following a courageous four year battle with cancer. He was born January 21, 1950 in Appleton, the son of Vernon and Geraldine [Kepple] Fink. He was a graduate of Kaukauna High School in 1968 and attended Appleton Technical College. He managed Henri's Music in Appleton for 12 years and then opened his own music store called Billy Bob's Music in Appleton. Bill was an accomplished musician teaching guitar and playing with numerous bands and most recently with Dancers. He was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church, Kaukauna.

He is survived by his fiancee, Audrey Hendrickson; his parents, Vernon and Geraldine Fink, Kaukauna; a son, Daniel Fink; also survived by Carrie and Austin Hendrickson; two sisters and brothers in-law, Bonnie and Bernie Van Zeeland, Kaukauna; Wendy and John Cappaert, Appleton; seven nieces and nephews, Greg, Brad, Lori and Kara Van Zeeland; Craig, Carrie and Christine Cappaert.

He was preceded in death by his paterana grandparents, Otto and Martha Fink; and his maternal grandparents, Edgar and Goldie Kepple.

Mrs. Martin Weyenberg, 82, 533 N. Appleton St., a resident of this community all her life, died at 12:15 Sunday afternoon at her home after a lingering illness. Born in Darboy, she lived in this city since her marriage in 1877. She and her husband, who survives her, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary ten years ago next month. Her maiden name was Wilhelmine Toonen. She was a member of the St. Joseph Church, the Apostolate, the Christian Mothers Society, and the Third Order of St. Francis.

Survivors are her husband; eight daughters, Mrs. Joseph Schiffer and Mrs. Reinhard Wenzel, Appleton; Mrs. Arnold Van and Mrs. W. J. Femal, Green Bay; Mrs. Peter Gonnering, Freedom; Mrs. J.J. She received her education in Kaukauna. The former Helen L. Lockery was married to Lester G. Seggelink on May 30, 1935 in Lake County, Indiana. She was employed for Zwicker Knitting Mill in Appleton for 31 years until retiring because of ill health. In 1980, she moved to Marshfield to reside with her daughter and son in-law until the present time. Mrs. Seggelink was a former member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Appleton.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ham [Pat] Sinn, Carol Seggelink, both of Marshfield; Mrs. Theodore [Nancy] Paters, Oshkosh; a grandson, Kirby; a sister, Mrs. Jane Ellenbecker, Appleton; two brothers, James Lockery, Neenah; Donald Lockery, Wild Rose.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and two brothes.

Caroline T. Seggeling, of Neenah, age 96, died unexpectedly, but peacefully, Thursday, April 7, 2005, at Appleton Medical Center. She was born July 22, 1908, in Kaukauna, daughter of the late August and Katherine (Spohn) Pahl. She married William Seggeling on June 15, 1929; he preceded her in death on March 27, 1991. Caroline was well-known for her flower garden and manicured yard.

A loving mother and grandmother, she will be sadly missed by her daughter, Betty Gibson, Appleton; three grandchildren: Steven Gibson, Kensington, MD; Kay (Cliff) Gibson - Schultz, Kansas City; and Kathy Gibson, Appleton; she is further survived by nieces, nephews, and by her loving pets. She was a grandmother figure to Jacqueline, Mitch, and Pura.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. A Time of Remembrance will held Saturday, April 9, 2005, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Neenah’s Westgor Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Shrine of Heaven Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.

Fran was very active and envolved in community activities and affairs.

Mr. Wildenberg was a member of the American Legion Post 258, Little Chute, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Bricklayers Union Local No. 10 and St. Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lori; three sons and daughters in Law; Jeffrey and Patti, Kimberly; Jack and Karen, Little Chute; Michael, Little Chute; a grandson, Russell, Little Chute; his father, William Wildenberg Sr., Combined Locks; a brother, Daniel, Combined Locks; a sister, Mrs. Elaine Merrill, Combined Locks; 19 nieces and nephews.

Theresa Van Den Heuvel, age 92, of Little Chute, died Tuesday, April 6, 2004, at her home. She was born, July 18, 1911, in Little Chute, daughter of George and Minnie (Van Elzen) Verkuilen. Theresa married Edward Van Den Heuvel, September 17, 1938, in St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute and he preceded her in death February 22, 2004 after celebrating 65 years of marriage. She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church and the St. Elizabeth Society of the church. She was a faith-filled, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Theresa is survived by her sons: Dennis (Dyanne), Eau Claire; Leon (LuAnn) and Dan (Jane) Van Den Heuvel, both of Little Chute; daughters: Carol (Dale) McCalvy, Florida; Mary (Barry) De Leeuw, Kimberly; Irene (Larry) Huget, state of Oregon; and Diane (Jim) Guckenberg, Neenah; 15 grandchildren: Kaitie (Ryan) Kramer, Zachary Van Den Heuvel, Jennifer (Ralph) Shenefelt, Paul (Suzanne) and Sarah De Leeuw, Matt and Peter Huget, Ryan (Nicole), Jay (Bobbie Jo) and David (Jodi) Van Den Heuvel, Tim (Tiffany) and Tony Guckenberg and special friend Melanie Deeg, Kevin, Kurt and Alyssa Van Den Heuvel; four great-grandchildren: Rylee, Tressa and Gavin Van Den Heuvel, Nicholas Shenefelt; many nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Mildred Van Den Heuvel.

She was born on September 19, 1905 in Kaukauna, the daughter of the late William and Martha [Wanke] Brown. She was a Kaukauna resident most of her life, marrying Simon J. Vanden Heuvel on June 11, 1929. He preceded her in death on March 7, 1977. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.

She is survived by four daughters and four sons in-law, Shirley and Joseph Hoffman, St. Joseph, Michigan; Margaret and Joseph Mollen, Kaukauna; Carmen Vanden Heuvel, Kaukauna; Sharon and Fred Foster, Elgin, South Carolina; Ervin Van Handel, Glendale; a son and daughter in-law, Daniel G. and Diane Vanden Heuvel, Kaukauna; 27 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; a beloved sister, Elsie Schmalz, Kaukauna; many nieces and nephews. Age 81, died on Wednesday, October 1, 1997 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born in Britten, South Dakota on Joly 27, 1916 to the late Louis and Emma (Presteen) Rudloff. Robert worked for 32 years at Kimberly Clark and to his friends will be remembered as the cowboy. Robert also served time in thje U. S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lottie, in 1987, whom he was married to for 50 years; his second wife, Viola, in 1995; and his brother, Wilbert Rudloff.

He is survived by his children; Earl (Mitzi) Rudloff, Robert (Karen) Rudloff Jr., and Helen Hackbarth, all of Appleton; Cherly (special friend Bob) Holcomb, Sun City, California; Sharon (Ken) Ninmer, Brillion; and Mary (Tony) Peterson, Manti, Utah; a brother, Harold Rudloff, Appleton; and two sisters, Bernice Van Dynhoven, Grand Chute; and Ruth Plach, Appleton. He is further survived by 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; special friends; Clarence and Betty, both of Appleton; and other relatives and friends.

Formerly of Little Chute, age 76, died peacefully on Thursday morning, March 4, 1999 after a year and a half struggle with cancer. Her final weeks were spent at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. She was born January 21, 1923 in Little Chute, where she lived for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late John and Josephine Vandeyacht. On May 31, 1945, she married Norbert C. Van Lanen at St. John's Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on January 8, 1990. She spent her lifetime dedicated to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. As the family matriarch, Mayme opened her home and heart to her family when they needed her, and cemented family relationships through her letter writting and thoughtful gestures over the years. Mayme was a life long member of St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute, where she worked with the Mission Club and other parish volunteer activities.

Age 71, died suddendly Thursday, April 6, 1995 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born April 4, 1924 in Combined Locks, the son of the late Henry and Harriet [Vanden Heuvel] Jansen. Les had served with the U.S. Coast Guard for four year during World War II. He had been employed at Appleton Papers Locks Mills for 36 years, retiring in 1986. He was an avid hunter and gardner and enjoyed riding his moped. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Jacob Coppus Post 258 of the American Legion and the Quarter Centruy Club of the Locks Mill.

Age 79, died Friday, August 9, 1994. He was born December 2, 1914 in the Town of Buchanan to the late Fred and Susan [Monyett] Speel. On October 5, 1940 he married Leona DeGroot in Appleton. He was an active member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. Lowrence worked at Secura Insurance Co. for 32 years, where he was vice president and controller and served as chief financial officer. He retired on March 25, 1983. Larence was an avid Cubs and Bears fan.

Survivors include his wife, Leona; four daughters, Mary Ann Speel, Appleton; Susan [Gerald] Hamill, Eau Claire; Barbara [Michael] Matter, Appleton and Geralynn [Howard] DeClleene, Appleton; two sons, Lawrence F. He operated a butcher shop on 3rd St. in Kaukauna from 1921 to 1933 and sold out to enter the cattle buying business. He was a member to the St. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukauna.

Survivors include the widow; his stepmother; Mrs. Nellie Hopfensperger, route 4, Appleton;l two daughters, Miss Bette Hopfensperger, Milwaukee, and Mrs. James Koenen, Port Washington; one son, James, Appleton; three brothers, Alois, route 1, De Pere, Charles, route 3, Kaukauna, and Arthur, route 3, Appleton; five half brothers, Joseph, Richard, Reynold and Earl, all of route 4, Appleton, and Elmer, route 3, Kaukauna; three sisters, Mrs. Regina Van Denzen, Kaukauna, Mrs. Anna Brown, Menasha, and Mrs. Earl Coffey, Milwaukee; four half sisters, Mrs. Edward Steidl, Kaukauna, Mrs. Otto Lemke, Neenah, Mrs. Robert Lehrer, Shiocton and Mrs. Al Thiel, Sherwood; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call after 7 o'clock Saturday evening at the Greenwood Funeral Home, Kaukauna. The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock Saturday and Sunday evening. The cortege will form at 8:30 Monday morning at the funeral home and services will be conducted at 9 o'clock at the St. Mary Catholic church,

Age 75, died Monday, December 23, 1985 at her home. She was born May 23, 1910 in Kimberly. She was a graduate of the Pallmer School of Chiropractics, Davenport, Iowa. She taught for 12 years at the Holy Name Catholic School, Kimberly, and was a member of the Holy Name Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Edward; a daughter and son in-law, Mary
Margaret and Randy Moreau, Neenah; a son and daughter in-law, John and Maureen Van Dinter, Waunakee; two sisters; Mrs. Norman Boettcher, Kaukauna; Mrs. Harry Kreikamp, Kimberly; six grandchildren; Shan-Marie Herpst; Jason and Wendy Van Dinter; Clayton, David and Tacia Mellender.

She was preceded in death by a brother. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 24, at Holy Name Catholic Church with Msgr. Carl Steiner officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Name Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the Jansen-Fargo Funeral Home. The family will receive friend at the family home 3610 Edgemere Dr., Appleton after the funeral services on Tuesday. A memorial has been established for the Holy Name Catholic Church.

Age 48, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday morning, June 22, 2003 due to a heart condition. Carl was born to Stanley and Pauline Joosten on April 10, 1955 in Kaukauna. On August 19, 1978 he married Sheree Collier at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Menasha. They lived in Minnesota until 1981 when they moved to Menasha. Their family circle was complete when their daughter Cortney was born April 21, 1985. The Joosten family lived a happy, loving, wonderful life.

Carl is survived by his wife, Sheree; his daughter, Cortney, Menasha; his mother, Pauline Joosten, Appleton; two brothers: Mark and Connie Joosten and their children: Mandy and Ryan, Appleton; Ronald and Michelle Joosten and their children: Kimberly, Brittany and Danielle, Greenville. Also surviving are his mother-in-law and father-in-law: Robert and Theresa Collier, his brother-in-law, Michael and Kim Collier and his daughter, Colleen, sisters-in-law, Kim and Greg Hartjes and their children: Michele, Angie and Bryan, Rebecca Collier, Vicki and Chris Vereb and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Carl will be Thursday, June 26, 2003 at 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 516 De Pere St., Menasha. Friends and family will be received at the Laemmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee St., Menasha on Wednesday evening June 25, 2003 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and also at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. when the Funeral Procession will leave for the church. There will be a prayer service held on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m.

A memorial scholarship fund in Memory of Carl will be established at Menasha High. If you have a favorite memory of Carl, please jot it down and give to the family. Carl lived his life to the fullest and will continue to live on through others, through organ donation.
